Thérèse i Fernand Ruiz
A stroll and an interview

Invited by her cousin Claudi Sebastià, who won the gold medal award in Perpignan, Thérèse meets Mariel and invites her to converse with her in her house in Banyuls, a fishing and wine-producing village in the northern part of the Pyrenees. There, they speak together with Thérèse’s husband Fernand about their feelings about their birthplace and its culture.

Like them, people on both sides of the Pyrenees have been more than willing to use this opportunity to express their feelings about their cultural identity.
